The bulk of the sugar in these bars is naturally occurring from the dates used as a main ingredient in basically every flavor. This particular bar has only two ingredients, cashews and dates, zero grams of added sugar.

Most of their flavors are pretty tasty but they pack a decent amount of sugar into those little bars. Better for you than a candy bar for sure though

they're my favorite for that reason. And yes I know you can just make it, but it being shelf stable and ready to eat is a huge plus. I throw them in all my bags and jackets in case I need a snack. It's a great pick me up rather than buying a slice of pizza or chips somewhere.

A good price is $0.50 per bar (or less).

These are great, but my family is still working our way through our final 3 boxes of them.

I got the same flavor at a local, liquidation grocery store. 12 bars for $2. They were not close to expiration date, which means they were there because of lack of interest.
They taste like health food tastes. If you're not used to eating healthy food, you won't like them. Not particularly sweet, salty, hearty, anything. Bland.
They say cashews as first ingredient, but all you see is a brown block with cashews peppered in. Maybe the bulk of the cashews is cashew dust and you don't actually see it.

I like date sweetened snacks, wish they had more of these. In for one. I have to make my own date-sweetened snacks b/c not many do this. Date sweetened cookies, pumpkin bread date-sweetened, it's much better than using sugar

Deal expired, shucks. I already have the pumpkin spiced ones, those are really good.
