Have owned Vitamix blenders for a while now and love them. They last forever and work great. This price is definitely a good deal, especially with 5 year refurbished warranty. :Thumbs Up:

They are worth the hype. Had the ninja. The vitamix does so much better on making smoothies that do not have chunks.

Depends on what you value. The high-end blenders like Vitamix and Blendtec tend to be a buy-once-cry-once items as they are built for the pro/consumer. Be aware the accessories are also pricey if you are needing the extras

from a real user, I picked up a refurb Vitamix a couple years ago on a woot sale. it is night and day better than my ninja or regular blenders before. much more powerful and better settings - definitely opened up doors that weren't open or were just being done crappy before.

I had to buy a replacement pitcher (wife somehow cracked it, unknown how she managed that) and it was almost the same price as the blender, so I had to wait for a used one. so yeah, hope nothing breaks.

Came to see what the hype was about. Still use my avocado-green Osterizer blender I received as a wedding gift almost 54 years ago. Pulverized a lot of fruits and vegetables into baby food, made gallons of daiquiris, margaritas, and pina coladas. Expect it to outlast me...
So can't justify a replacement.

go to Costco, buy a blender which you can return at any time if you don't like it.

Many restaurant kitchen and smoothie stores use vitamix and blendtec. The containers are expensive but if you can swing the $$$, do it. Their warranty is amazing and they even repaired one of my units with an expired warranty.

Unless things have changed recently, refurbished Vitamix still come with new container. It's the base/motor that's refurbished.
