Honestly, unless one is SOOO weight sensive for this item, the 20K version for $19 is a better product if not deal (cheapest price)

Not a fan of built-in cables, when they go bad you can't remove them. Their battery with the "hand strap" style separate USBC cable should be the standard.

But seriously, there should be no short since the V+ and Ground on these cables is usually far apart.

It depends on the use case s1cenario. For charging my surface laptop studio (40w) the 20k is more convenient.
For having a battery pack on my pocket for my phone, this is perfect
