I have other Zyliss products in my kitchen and I like them a lot. Zyliss and OXO are two brands that I always go to first in my kitchen.That said, I don't think Zyliss is a knife company but it says it's made out of German steel. I would probably put this higher than something you buy in the grocery store aisle but I am not going to replace victorinox knive set I with these.

They have pictures of the knife cutting vegetables and even the pictures make it look like a pain in the a** to use. I'll stick with my Chef's-Style knife with a slight curvature.

They're Swiss. I bought some of their kitchen utensils secondhand, and they perform better than I expected. I would be very surprised if the knife worked poorly.

And it's decent German budget steel which still beats more than half of what's on Amazon. And it's a 5 yr warranty, so make it your beater kitchen knife and keep getting free replacements.
