If you're worried about that, and you probably should be, pricematch somewhere local. It's sold by Amazon, so would be easy.

Best Buy. Also able to get free shipping and they let me use my $10 reward certificate. Less than 7 bucks out of the door.

Best Buy retail store wouldn't price match the $15.87 price from Amazon. Their computer came back with a "price too low" error or something and they couldn't/wouldn't do it.

Edit: did the online chat thing for price match and they couldn't do the 15.87 price either. Their fix was to buy at full price and then do a price match after.

Edit 2: price matching after purchase with online chat did indeed end up working.

That's what I did. In the end it wasn't worth the time/effort, but still got the deal. Won't do this again though.

I'm just curious if anyone can answer this. I recently bought an Apple Watch (first time owning one), and it's great. With the base charger it comes with, it charges quickly and doesn't get hot. The other day, I bought one of those 15W charging stands since it's easier to place the watch on it, like it charges fine (though not as fast), but it makes the Apple Watch itself get pretty warm for a while. Is that normal with third-party chargers?

I tried at the BB store, my certificate didn't have a barcode and the lowest they would go in the system was $19.50. I didn't get it, hopefully the one that will ship from Amazon is oem and not fake.

Thanks, OP. I ordered one from Amazon. Shipped/sold by Amazon gives me confidence, but if it's been opened or not in Apple original packaging, it's an easy return.
Edit: Oct 10, product arrived today in sealed, unopened Apple box.
