I have Total because I buy too much stuff and find the 2-year geek squad worth it, but the biggest perk IMO to Plus is that it gives you 60-days of returns on most items. AKA 60-days of price matching since you're still in the return window. That said, they no longer price match Black Friday pricing if it mentions that on a competitor's page I believe.

This is a deal, but I don't think this is any good deal. Because it isn't any Walmart or target that we can use those 10$ credit which expire in 30 days.

I'm a Best Buy Total member, mostly for extended warranties, including Apple Care. Something to be aware of: BB has recently leaned into the marketplace craze, and I personally find it to be super annoying. Now when you buy something you need to make sure it is sold by BB. If you don't, and you're expecting your Total membership to give you an extended warranty, you could be SOL.

This looks to be for the middle tier and doesn't include the warranty that the $180 a year plan does.

I'm surprised BB is still in business. Recently visited for the first time in 15 years hoping they would be the 1 place you can buy a refrigerator when yours suddenly dies, but nobody has a fridge you can just buy and take home. I suggest you plan your fridge failure at least 2 months in advance.

Not sure about your walmart/target analogy but you can still turn rewards into gcs that never expire.

I'm really surprised BB has not gone out of business. It's been downhill fast last 20 years.

Do get a small fridge or freezer for backup, just in case

Best buy needs to stay in business. It's the last nationwide store that still price matches

I always pre order a video game with about to expire rewards certificate and then cancel them after few days. The certificate amount used will be refunded as BB Reward points which never expires.
