9700X + MB + RAM for $450 > 7700X + MB for $300.
I build a lot of computers and I do not agree. I don't think 9700X is worth $50 (accepting the $100 ram premise) more than the 7700X in performance. You can tune the 7700X to 65W if you want similar efficiency, too.
With the 7700X bundle, you've got the option to chose your own RAM. There are plenty of kits online that are around $100 that are DDR5 6000 CL28. You can buy much better RAM than the bundle includes for the same price. That said, I don't think most people will really notice the difference in latency. They might want to choose different aesthetics though.
