This is the same one I just got for my wife. We both enjoy it. Has a nice, strong motor. Solid tires means no flats, but it still has a smooth ride with dual suspension/shocks.

This deal beats the most recent popular one for this scooter by ~$7.

Working fine for me using Win11/Chrome. Are you using the full-page SD site? Might not work well with mobile or app site view? Maybe try another browser?

Is this significantly better than the LP80? Do the shocks really make a big difference or should I just invest in getting a scooter with inflatable tires?

For me it would come down to how much the rider weighs. The LP80 for me as a 6 foot 5" 220lb guy can barely go up hills, but for my 10 and 12 year old kids is able to go full speed up hills and is plenty fast. I think the 500w motor on this and the ESMAX would be better for somebody bigger and taller than a kid.

I've read on SD threads that folks with the LP80, and/or LP60 wish they had gotten one like this, with shocks.
We have rented the ones without shocks (Birds, etc) and yes, it makes a big difference. It feels so much better. I do not want to deal with Slime or tire changing.

I find the LP80 amazing for my kids. They don't need shocks and other fancy features that ultimately probably aren't really functional for them at their weight. Air filled tires would be great, but as their scooter and bike and other equipment repairman, I want solid tires no matter the impact on ride. For me, I actually want a scooter with suspension as well as air filled tires. Safer and more comfortable for me, and not a big deal if it's out of commission for a bit while I wait to repair.

I believe the air tire version of this scooter is the ESMAX (going off a vague memory here)

I have the TMax and the LP60. While the Tmax has a higher top speed they perform the same on hills for me at least(180lb).The suspension is nice for popping over the small curb lips or uneven surfaces but the minor road imperfections come through about the same as the LP60 with no suspension. Definitely feels more confidence inspiring with the suspension in my opinion.

Yes that's correct. My ESMAX arrives today! I'm happy to provide my thoughts after trying it out.

I actually received a AOVOPRO ESMAX instead of a Ladped LPMAX. And it does seem to have inflatable tires. This is so much smoother than the LP80 I got a few weeks ago. I'm not even sure what I'm going to do with the LP80, I'm not going to ride that anymore after riding the ESMAX

Edit: See the solution in my follow-up post. Use the QR Code from the manual to DL and install the Vicont app from that link, not from the Play Store.

I think I have the answer. Do not just install the app from play store. Use the QR Code and install the correct version from that link. When I first tried to add the scooter to my phone, it would not show up in BT pairing attempt. I uninstalled that version and followed the QR Code installation method. Ignored the warnings as this QR code is sourced right from in the manual that comes with the scooter.

Also be aware the some of these scooters have different versions that require different apps. Not sure they are cross compatible as I haven't tried it. I know with the LP80 at least, my manual says to use the Tuya app, but other people got a version of the scooter that has the metal side supports for the rear fender and believe the Vicont app is what their manual said to use. So read the manual as they say :-).
