It does not, it uses a different chip then the miyoo mini and + does. Your best bet imo if you pick a miyoo flip up would be to run Carl OS, or I think Gamma has has a release build for the flip also but might be wrong.

I have this and the RG35XX SP. The buttons on the Anbernic device are so clicky that it's uncomfortable to play, it's the main reason I bought the Miyoo Flip v2 afterwards.

While the hinge feels more solid on the other device, I play the Miyoo Flip a lot more. And $40 is so cheap anyways that if the hinge broke I would just buy another one swap my CarlOS card over or upgrade to whatever's new. These devices are so cheap and iterate so fast that I don't really care about the durability as much.

The joysticks also make Dreamcast and N64 games more playable so the library on the Miyoo is effectively much bigger even if they both have similar processing power.

How does the screen look compared to the 35sp?

I still have my PSP2000 original that I had modded to run the CFW about 10 years ago I think, I am just wondering if I should consider trying to use that again...

The hinge snaps closed very harshly when compared to the Anbernic devices or even a GBA SP. It is concerning to me. However the failing v2 hinges seem to be the gray color only. Unfortunately, the nicest color..
Also there are no good custom firmwares for this. All of them seem to be based on stock rather than completely fresh (carlos, spruce os, surwish). The exceptions seem to be minui which is very limited, and Gamma OS Core which is Android based, slow and not practical.
All that said, $40 is a phenomenal price and it does have a (more powerful) chipset for its class, the rk3566.

How is this against the R36S? I'm just new to emulating.

I was about the buy the black version, but I read that this hinge will break, just a matter of time. The grey is more prone to break, but all colors have reported the hinge issue, so it's a design problem with the shell/hinge. I'll pass, looks really awesome though, I want it lol.

I feel like I've been researching these devices for months now. Was about to pull the trigger on this one as the price is nice, but after a bit more research I decided to spend more and go with the Anbernic RG34XX SP instead.
