This isn't part of the recall stick is it? Debating if this is worth the hassle, but I'm thinking of just getting the 60v at $100 more

No sale for me, I'd buy it at that low of a price for sure though. The 10AH batteries seem to make this a killer deal.

That's incredible, I need a little mower like this for mowing what I consider dangerous areas for my riding mower.

I actually just found a store 3 hours away with the deal, but it's indicating 10ah batteries and I've been googling about the 10ah ones and it seems they are pretty failure prone in my limited research. Did they advertise 12ah batteries for you or was a 10ah advertisement and they switched to 12ah when you got the unit? Thanks for any help, trying to decide if it's worth 6 hours of driving.

There were 2 at my local HD. 1 with the 10A batteries label and 1 with the limited 60V flexvolt batteries label. I picked the one with the flexvolt battery. See attached pic. But just found out the date code on this lawn mower is 2024 03 58 which is in the recall from dewalt right now. Not sure if im gonna keep it or bring it to the store to get it fixed and keep it.

After looking into the 10AH batteries some more, you may want to stick with this one UNLESS they will let you keep the batteries. I don't know about the quality of the mower that has a recall, I'm not sure of the issue, but if it's not gamebreaking........it may be worth it to try to leg it out if you can keep the felxvolt 12ah. Just my thoughts. I'm going to call my store and see if they have the 12 AH version and if they do I may go pick it up, the 10AH older batteries seem to have an extensive history of being junk more commonly than others.

I had one 10ah battery dead on arrival. dewalt didn't ask for proof of purchase just sent me a new one a week later.
