You can chat with customer service to get second month for $10 for unlimited talk & text with no data to satisfy the unlock requirements (YMMV)

Both 2024 and 2025 Stylus have this promotion.

Snapdragon 6 Gen 3
6.7" pOLED Super HD (2712 x 1220)
128GB storage expand up to 1TB with microSD card (purchase separately)
8GB RAM with 24GB RAM Boost

Offer ends 01/07/2026 or while supplies last. Device taxes and fees may apply. Requires new activation, external port in, and ID Verification on any plan. Available exclusively online. Limit to 2 devices per account.

https://www.totalwireless.com/sma...25-prepaid

Heads up for anyone porting a Google voice number: use the 10 digit phone number for the account number. For the pin, you have to set a pin for your voicemail in the Google voice settings to use that as the porting pin. Lastly, you have to pay the $3 to unlock the number for porting somewhere in the Google voice settings. I had a few hiccups with mine and had to make a few phone calls to total wireless to get it going but I finally got it to work. If you're still having trouble, look up a guide. I've heard sometimes they ask for a zip or even a full address and for that it looks like you might have to use an address for what might be Google HQ in California, but I was never asked.

I think I also had to cycle through a few numbers on Google numbers before I got one that total wireless would accept.
I just placed an order as a new user for TotalWireless. Did the ID verification. I am porting a google voice number. What do you mean use the 10 digit phone number for the account number? Is that part of the port process once I receive the phone? Where do I enter that info, I don't see that when I place the order and go through the ID verification.
Thank you!

It is when you activate the phone. Not required when ordering.

I activated a tello number last night but when I go to checkout and enter the phone number into the eligibility check it's saying that the number is not eligible. Anyone else run into this?
edit: i copied with the leading 1 and it was chopping off the last number. works now. though the number isn't ready to port out yet.

Not sure if you are in a hurry to activate, but Tello will not give port-out info for the first 7-10 days after issuing a new number. If you port a number to Tello, that port out info is available immediately.

Bought one of these in Aug. Just unlocked automatically after 60 days of paid service. It's great phone to load up content on the microSD. Great display, good sound, headphone jack and it's lightweight.

Area code + your number, e.g. (123) 456- 7890
I look up the porting g-voice to Total Wireless. Just like what the sub-thread OP said, but they show you how to unlock and setting pin (if you hadn't)

Phone is back in stock as of today. Some credit cards offer discounts for Total purchases - some for services only 25% off up to $15 off with Chase Sapphire Reserve and checking accounts - YMMV.

A popular credit card CB site offered $80 for device purchases, which does not apply to this deal as you are only purchasing the service.

what happens if you purchase with the port-in new customer deal, but never port a number in? does the phone just remain carrier locked? or will they charge you for the full price of the phone?

Thanks - ordered one few mins ago, after ID verification and providing port in information. The $30 5GB plan appeared automatically on the next screen to select. Total was $33 odd including taxes for the first month of service. Once the phone is delivered and activated, does the auto-renew kick in as I cant see it anywhere now on the account (except that the payment is stored).
Also, once the second month service is charged (say on 30th day), can I delete payment method and disable auto-renew immediately? Will this satisfy the 60 day active service requirement for auto unlock?

You may not be able to delete the payment method but can disable auto pay. For me, it shows under Payment Methods to Enroll in Auto Refill at the end. I have no lines active currently will set it up once this phone gets delivered. I ordered one earlier today and already see IMEI of the phone in the account.
