I got one of these in the last sale. Firmware was a disaster with constant stutter and for some bizarre reason required USB fix and not over WiFi.

With the usb firmware, is the TV good now? Qm6K seems to have excellent feedback….was looking at this for the improved reflection handling

It seems much better but I have read on AVS forums that the new firmware break other things like CEC and ARC. If I was still in the return window, I would probably take it back

Good tip…unfortunately the Amazon return window does not provide price protection if this drops lower. TCL/Hisense and the other B tiers are still panel lottery companies with out of the box defects and uniformity issues…..if you get a good one DEFINITELY not worth the risk of an exchange. I went through 3x Hisense TV returns before I gave up and upgraded to a better brand/model. BBY will PM if it drops in 15 days, and you can also let it sit there for a week to get a little longer…at least through prime days if you choose in store pickup. I'm in for 1!

Yes, IMO….120Hz panel for smoother motion, brighter, improved speakers, center mount stand, better reflection handling.
As an alternate The QM6K is the qm5K with the 120Hz panel…also an excellent upgrade if the brighter screen does not matter to you.

Im on the latest firmware and ARC and CEC work perfectly i have a Samsung Soundbar for ARC and CEC used with Shield, Soundbar and Xbox
