It doesn't even work as a wired mouse. The USB C is for charging only and if this mouse is like the previous version, it'll go months between charges.
It'll function as a wired mouse with a usb-c charging cable. I've been using it that way with the 2, 3, 3s, and now 4. Still need to be paired normally.
Yes, when using the receiver and the charging cable, it'll take up two usb ports, but that shouldn't be a problem given there are plenty of usb ports from the motherboard.

Not correct for the MX Master 3. Cable is charging only - no connectivity.
They all need to be paired either through the receiver or BT. I'm just saying the mouse will still work with a charging cable plugged in thus eliminating the need to charge the battery. Basically the mouse can function as wired or wireless. A pretty cool feature.

The top line on the coupon that I received when I recycled an item is that it can be used In Store Only. I could not use it online when I tried. Hope you have better luck.

I recycled something about 5 minutes ago and asked about it as I had the same question. The CS agent stated that they have to select either in-store or online when generating the coupon. I was buying in-store this time so the coupon I received didn't include an online code, however her statement made me believe it is possible if requested. The cashier didn't ask and must have defaulted to in-store when I recycled something else previously. hth
I doubt it. The way it reads, you bring in your old junk device, they give you a coupon, then you buy the new Logitech device.
