let me rephrase. I'm looking for comfortable everyday shoes. not to play tennis, as some have thought. sneakers maybe is what I should have said. I also understand these are high end but that what I want. high end comfort shoes I can wear daily that provides some comfort for my plantar fascitis. and I don't give a shit about the damn logo. but everyone that has Hokas seems to like them. edit for autocorrect

This has a PEBAX plate designed for propulsion, not comfort. These would not suit your purpose IMO. Assuming you have a legit podiatrist's diagnosis for your plantar fasciitis, consult your podiatrist's advice and write down key criteria. Look for a local independent running-focused store, because even though running isn't your intent, they should at least know shoes and feet, unlike typical workers at Dick's, Champs, Foot Locker, etc. Rattle off your needs and what your podiatrist recommended, and try on as many models of shoes as it takes to find some that suit you. Don't try to do this shopping on the internet, because shoe fit and function are already highly subjective even without your PF issue. Once you've found shoes that work for you, you can use them as a baseline for online shopping if you want.

these are considered racing shoes because they're carbon plated and it gives you the bouncy feeling for long runs. I'd not recommend this model tho

These would not be good for tennis. You need something with more support that allows lateral movement.

If you want to sprain or break your ankles playing tennis get these or any running shoes.

If you want to have proper side to side, forward to back, and grounded stance get tennis shoes like a pair of babalots.

apparently I misspoke. not to play tennis. daily shoes. sneakers is a better word?? I've always just said tennis shoes. but yeah I get there is a difference. I have plantar fascitis and looking for comfortable shoes. everyone says to get Hokas. 🤷

This model is not carbon plated. It uses a Pebax plate, a type of plastic.

Yeah, my first question was going to be whether they meant for actual tennis or just casual comfort wear, and apparently it's the latter. When I was growing up most athletic style shoes were generically called tennis shoes, and apparently it's because most of the earliest athletic shoes were originally designed for tennis.

These are not what you are looking for. They are designed for tempo fast runs. Look for the Hoka Bondi or Clifton models. They have more cushion and padding. The Bondi has more padding and is what I use as daily shoe for just walking about or standing on your feet. I have 10 models of Hoka in my current line up from the Rocket X3, Cielo X1, Clifton 9, Bondi 9, Mach X2, Tecton X, Challenger, and a few others depending on the physical activity I'm doing.
