I've been using mine as a dashcam while riding my bicycle in Florida weather since last November. Hasn't once overheated on me.

Not true at all. I literally switched to Osmo Action cameras because of this issue with GoPro cameras. The osmo Action cameras do not suffer from overheating unless you are literally recording over a fire pit,a volcano, a grill or a stove... Are you cooking your camera?

Mine is delivered. I tried using it for a Timelapse. It is heating up not overheating, but it is morethan warm. Is it normal ?

Yes. If it was overheating, then it would stop functioning.

Switched from a GoPro 10 to the Action 4 and never overheats. GoPros random shut off, overheat and reboots, etc. never had anything like that with my Osmo Action 4.

Technically can't be a "dashcam" since bicycles don't have dash. Handlebar cam?

Is it just me or does the battery life suck on this... Yes I am used to the DSLR but still, only like 70-80 min on 4k-60fps... I assume at lower res/speed it will last a little longer but to me if you allow such a setting, it needs to last longer than a full match of something, anything.

Also it cut off during one recording and started up again after 32 min. Is that weird? Or does it have some hard stop limit on 32 min of 4k-60gfps and it cannot handle any more in one go?

I got this one when was released. I love it! Great action camera that I use to record mundane things outdoors, not really like action but who cares. Recommended!
