Would love to try the in8, but I have a subwoofer already so the in5 makes more sense for my setup.
Do you notice any hiss? I'm worried that switching from passive (no hiss) to active will result in a noticeable hiss at nearfield (currently using XLR)

The IN-v2/"second wave" reduced the original hiss issue by about 12db so they're very quiet now. Edit: just checked and I'm fairly confident you wouldn't hear them at all if youre at least 2 feet away
