I agree, that's why I caveated my whole post with "I know this is just one person's experience" and then suggested people might be happier with downgrading to the non-ANC version (still a good product) or upgrading to AirPods Pro (another good product). I was just trying to be helpful since others have helped me make good purchase decisions on here.

Id wait until tomorrow to see if the pro 2's drop in price. Expecting Amazon to at least match costcos expired deal.

I know this is just one person's experience, but the ANC on my AirPods 4 got messed up within 2 months of owning them. Now, after a period of about 20 mins or so, I get a ton of static and interference. I sent them to Apple and they couldn't replicate the problem because obviously they weren't going to try for 20 mins. So, I say all this to say I would buy the AirPods 4 without ANC OR look at the AirPods Pro if the ANC is something you really need (as someone who has owed both, and also owns Beats Fit Pros as well).

It has one year warranty if you bought it in the US. Return it if it's not working properly.
