YMMV, but I had a coupon on my Amazon page for $37.66 off in addition to the discount. That pushed me over the edge to purchase.

Got one of these a month ago, its amazing absolutely a buy at this price imo. More powerful than my old gas stihl and so much lighter/quieter

these batteries will last a solid 1 to 1-1/2 years with regular usage. Ego warranty support is awful and would not cover a replacement. they will not honor what is written on the box.
I'm going back to gas next year, and likely a china based gas product.
