Sound quality hasn't changed noticeably from XM4. At this price it's good, but usually you want warranty coverage for Sony products. The XM stuff always seems to break or have firmware bugs.

It hasn't? I have the big 3 of SQ bluetooth headphones, Bathys/5909/PX8 but they all suck at ANC. I also coincidentally have an XM4 strictly for instances where I need ANC. Are these barely better in sound than the XM4? To me the XM4 are only tolerable as far as SQ. I can still cancel.

all I saw is

No. Used products generally do not come with a manufacturer's warranty, but all of our items are backed by Amazon's 30-day return policy.

was able to snag one used like new with delayed shipment for 252+tax with 7% cash back with delayed shipment.

since there is no warranty I will have to think if I can keep this order or not.

Not many deals out there on new XM6's

Yeah, cheapest I've seen for new XM6 is $379. Seems reasonable, but I'm torn on whether to go that route or splurge on the PX8 S2.

Have you tried the PX8 S2? I'm weighing whether to go for the XM6 ($379, no tax), PX8 ($479 + tax), or splurge for the PX8 S2 ($799 + tax). Assuming 95%+ of my headphone usage will be for streaming video and podcasts, is it not really a big deal if the only codec support that my phone (Samsung S25 Ultra) and TV (LG C5) would have in common with the XM6 would be SBC? They do support several aptx codecs, which both B&W models support.
