I bought these on a whim but have been pleasantly surprised, they are my go-to buds now. I already own the Baseus BP1s and four other "in ear" style earbuds, but my previous favorite was my Anker Soundcore 2s. I still use them when I need noise-cancelling, but these BC1s made the others dead to me (including the BP1s). There are several things I love about these, they're truly comfortable and stay put better than any other earbuds I've tried. Most earbuds wouldn't stay in place for me, and I was constantly having to fidget with them to get the sound right again when they got loose. Not these, once I put them on that's it.

Some people complain they are not loud enough, but I haven't found that. I actually like the sound, it's easy on the ears, not too much base, but not tinny either, and loud enough for me. It makes them great for listening for hours at a time, such as with movies. The Baseus app is actually useful, and you don't need to sign up, just use it in guest mode and it remembers your settings.

These are Bluetooth 6.0 and one feature I really like is its ability to switch seamlessly between paired devices. Before, if wanted to use them with my TV, but they were already paired to my phone, I needed to manually disconnect them from the phone first. No more. With these, it seamlessly switches between the device you turn on. So if I turn on my TV it connects to it even if already paired to my phone. This was all new to me, but it's the first version of Bluetooth that made a difference to me.

My general experience with these type of open ear buds is that you should ONLY buy them if you're A. wearing earbuds for a long time, and in-ear buds hurt your ears and you prioritize comfort over sound B. You prioritize hearing the world around you over whatever you're listening to through the ear buds.
If any part of you cares about the actual sound quality, you won't be satisfied compared to in-ear buds, even cheap ones.
I have a pair of Soundcore open ear buds that I use specifically for watching TV at night. Let's me hear all the information, but I'm still aware if one of my kids start sleepwalking and I have to help them back into bed.

I wear these for running outside, which are actually perfect for it IMO. They generally stay in place better than regular in-ear earbuds and I can hear traffic around me.

My use case: wear this plus big hearing protection outside for riding mower or push mower, to hear the news/podcast.
An pair of ANC earbuds or headphones are better for this use case.

Regular ear buds have never fit well, been comfy. I used like those wired Sony hook earphones. I wonder if it's more stable fit with these

These have a specific purpose, which others have articulated: comfortable long-term wear that allow you to hear outside noises. They are fantastic for that. I own 5 pairs of buds, including APP2, EarFun, and Technics. I grab these more often (except when I'm going to be riding the subway). The sound quality ***for an open style earbud*** is just great.

Highly recommend.

They are good but not too loud.
I have been using this ear piece for over 4 months. Sounds great for the price and quality is there but it is too tight on my ears. I do not have big ears or anything. I tried to stretch them out to give it a little more room for my ear lobes but no good. I have not tried to use a spacer as a wedge to stretch it out. I am able to use it for about 10 minutes before it starts to hurt my ear lobes. As for sound volume, I turn it up all the way and it is still not at medium sound level. I can't hear it in restaurant settings where people talk.

I really really liked these. They were loud, clear, good bass. Not perfect but great for the price.

Until.... about a month in the right earbud volume went down and the started buzzing at modest volume as if there was a blown speaker. I sent them back for another set.

Lo and behold the second set also failed in the same way. Right earbud, buzzing with modest volume (I only use them for audiobooks).

Customer service was responsive and took care of me (refund) but I have given up on these buds.

I enjoy using them, compared to in ear or over ear headphones. I think my biggest complaint is that they are harder to hear in a noisy environment. I typically only wear one earbud at a time but if a train is pulling in to the station I can no longer hear my podcast or music. Otherwise it's more comfortable and easier to put on than I thought. Good value for the $30 I paid for them

How's the mic quality on these?
I found the mic to be unusable for calls. No one could understand me. I tried two sets.

I bought 2 pair in July. They are excellent! Use them mostly when I'm in bed on my side with one in my right ear as it sets me to sleep. I can barely feel it is there. I also only put one in when I'm in the living room with my wife so she doesn't get the feeling I'm completely ignoring her (only ignoring 50% Wink Sound is clear and crisp. I can move about most of my house without loosing signal. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend or to buy again if needed. Good price at the $20 mark but worth it at regular price I think.

Seems that this was introduced in Bluetooth 4.0, but has to be specifically implemented (Called bluetooth multipoint)

Interesting. I don't know why every manufacturer wouldn't use it then. It's the first Bluetooth device I've owned that uses it.
