1. The hinge screw rusts. Please, use premium stainless for this kind of pricing;
2. Handles easily loosen;
3. Not sharp, soft steel like the rest of Zwilling.
I'd rather buy one SG2 knife than a whole set of Zwilling

Actually these are great. Had them for probably 20yrs and the only reason they aren't still perfect is that when my kids were young they were found using them to try to cut something metal so there's a ding in the blade... but for general kitchen use they are still up to the job. For ten bucks I'd say they're a good deal.

i have seen this design under different names and even via aliexpress
but i chose to buy them here due to amazon's easy return policy
and gladly kept them as i debone 2 whole chickens a week.
i noticed some major local chinese markets sell these for $30usd,
so a lot of restaurant workers may be wearing thru them for food prep.
you can't pull mine apart, but they seem to clean up well and not rust.
mine are not spring loaded either, but i don't use them enough to miss it.

Seems like they are produced somewhere else now. May be the quality is changed?

On ATK's recommendation, I paid $15 for the Henckel version I linked in 2017. These spatchcock a chicken in seconds, stay sharp for a year at the speed I use them, and can be sharpened at home or professionaly.
