Heads up: It's just an additional 2% on top of the already 5% the card gives

what a waste of slickdeals server space to show what anyone who reads can select when applicable
A lot of people might not see it and it's human/normal to not see it.

You always get 6% for no rush shipping. An additional 1% with this deal. With the usual 6% I don't know if it's no rush because it's only a few days longer, usually on your prime shipping day

I got burned too many times with no rush shipping. if it's a good deal just get it shipped fast. A few of my orders were canceled, maybe they oversold or they could get additional stock.

The average Amazon order value is $52, so that is an extra $1.04 in savings based on the average order value.

Not as good as the defunct no rush shipping credits.

No rush shipping credits are not defunct. I placed 2 orders today and both were offering credits.

Is there any way to get the $1 no rush credits that they used to give, even when paying with an Amazon Visa or Amazon store card? This extra 1% cash back doesn't amount to much unless you are spending hundreds of dollars.

I found the no rush credits are only offered if using a non-Prime payment method. so most users can get 5% back in prime visa points OR the no rush credits, but not both.

This is the way to get 5% back with your Prime Visa, and the no rush credits:
- purchase Amazon Gift Card (GC) with your Prime Visa
- wait a few minutes for your GC balance to update
- at checkout, change the payment method to another credit card, and make sure you _also_ select the GC balance (so you're paying with your GC balance, and not your other credit card)

This requires the extra step of buying GC first, and trying to figure out how much GC to purchase. Otherwise, it's worth it.

Also, if you have a Discover Card, they're giving 5% back on Amazon purchases, so you can skip the GC purchase, and select Discover as payment method.

Also: it's normally $0.75 per item, minimum of two items in a purchase. Today with Prime Big Deals Day, it's $1 each, no minimum.

Since I like to read Kindle books, I always choose digital credits over additional percentage off with Amazon Prime card for no rush shipping incentive although I have the Prime card. I used Discover card to pay today's order for 5% cashback.

What do you buy with your $1 digital credits?

I have a few but not sure what to get with them. Spending them on movies seems meh. What gives the most value?

95% of the time I have all my Amazon purchases sent to Amazon locker in 1-2 days so I really wasn't aware of this since it doesn't show up as an option when you choose the locker. Today I am taking a chance and having my purchases sent to my home.....next week.....for a few extra $.

You can use the digital credits to buy Kindle ebooks, digital songs, or prime movies rental. In the past, I would save up to $10 digital credits and then order a digital music album.
