for those new to tracfone that is 1500 min/txt/MB for the year, not per month. Good for low volume users mostly on wifi though calls on WiFi still use minutes

How does QVC determine who's a new customer? Prior order history? Address? Email?

once i get this deal and activate it, say after 2 months, can i swap a locked TF/TW/ST phone to this line to unlock it? I was thinking so, but curious if any data point.

I'm not having luck with that. the moto unlocked and I got an a15 ST from Walmart and transferred the plan. it works with the TF plan but after 120+ days it's not unlocked and customer service says it still needs 60 days paid. if you value your time at all, don't try to deal with TracFone customer service.

I bought 3 of these. Good phone, but Tracfone stopped android updates for this model in July of this year.

If the locked phone was ever activated on its own independent line prior to you switching an existing line over you MIGHT get credits for days of service towards unlocking it. If the locked phone has never been activated with its own new line of service then no it won't unlock. An unlock with TF/TW/ST requires 'paid activation' as the first unlock requirement. 'paid' can be either you buy a new phone plan and use it for the first time on that phone or you activate a bundled phone plan from a deal like for the first time with the specific phone you want unlocked.

Anyone know if the sim card that comes with this supports WiFi calling? I know the phone supports it, and tracfone plans support it, but I believe the SIM card that comes with it must also support it, so that's my question.

My tracfone minutes/data from last year is about to expire. If I order these phones, can I rollover my existing minutes with these new minutes. Please share instructions on how to do this. Really appreciate any help.
