I own one. I'm not saying it's good or bad but no firmware update since last July of 2024.

Agreed, I have an AXE5300 and it hasn't been updated since November. My Eero pro units get updated it seems every other week.

So, as for the product itself, does it perform well for you? IMO, it is a good thing that there are no firmware updates as long as running smoothly, that usually signals no big issues, but, that is JMO. I just bought one is why I am asking. Thanks.

I've been using it since November 2023 and it's been working flawlessly overall. Occasionally, there's a brief hiccup—maybe 0.1% of the time—but nothing that affects performance in any meaningful way.

Solid router, using it in a tri-level home for a couple of years and hardly have any dropped connections, even with closed doors and what not.

Used? Any chance of it including some backdoor firmware hack from previous owners?

Don't buy these. I picked up a set of these 2 years ago and have had to factory reset them 4 times. They just stop working out of the blue.
