Agreed, I have an AXE5300 and it hasn't been updated since November. My Eero pro units get updated it seems every other week.

So, as for the product itself, does it perform well for you? IMO, it is a good thing that there are no firmware updates as long as running smoothly, that usually signals no big issues, but, that is JMO. I just bought one is why I am asking. Thanks.

Solid router, using it in a tri-level home for a couple of years and hardly have any dropped connections, even with closed doors and what not.

Don't buy these. I picked up a set of these 2 years ago and have had to factory reset them 4 times. They just stop working out of the blue.

Not sure on the first point, but setting this up in bridge mode on the xfinity xb8 was extremely simple and has worked without issue.
