I own this vacuum and it's overall a good vacuum with a lot of attachments (I did get mine from Costco) but it's not great on certain rugs it will get stuck everytime even on lowest setting....only rug it can go on for me is the ruggable style one. Just a heads up.

Thanks OP! Yeah, I was eyeing this at Costco online the past 2 weeks then the sale ended last week. This morning I noticed Costco put it back on Sale for the same price of $160. I knew about Amazon. Didn't know Walmart has it on sale too. This seems to be a decent vacuum given what it can do at 280W especially when discounted. Reviews are up there also. Good chance I'll pull the trigger this time before that sale ends. I don't like the Return process of Amazon as it has significantly been designed a while now to frustrate you. Therefore, only choice is Costco or Walmart for me. Although Walmart's advertisement of can be returned until Jan 31, 2026, is a little longer than the 90 days return for electronics at Costco. the fact that Costco's offering comes with a extra battery (exclusive to Costco for sure), makes it a better option (I think). That battery per Amazon is $70 in itself. almost half the cost of the device. And we all know, battery life depletes over time. And yes, i read vacuums are considered electronics for Costco subjected to the 90 day return. Anyone out there have any thoughts or used this vacuum and thoughts on the offer between these three retailers? Thanks

true. extra battery is a big deal for many of us. The only reason for my post is to show this deal to people who don't have Costco/amazon membership. Thanks

Not true about Costco. I recently returned a $600 Dyson v15 after 1.5 years no problem and no questions asked.

no one in the US can beat Costco's generous return policy. We just have to keep it in mind that Costco keep track of every return and dont abuse this generosity. They will ban you forever. History says it.

Thanks! I was this close to getting it but despite the 4.6 stars on Costco, the reviews from the last 4 months have all been pretty bad. A lot of complaints on how it doesn't work on rugs/carpet.

I posted this in the other thread. The target model is only 200 watts and has a shorter battery life. It's still a good deal, but I think the extra $30 is worth it for the better model.

I got this from Amazon last week. I love it. The bright lights are SO good at finding dog hair, especially on hardwood floors.

Did you have the original box and receipt?

Nope. No box, no receipt. They never ask for receipts anyway since all purchases are recorded in your account. I made sure I had all the parts and put them into a random cardboard box.I wasn't abusing the return policy though, nor am I trying to condone it. One of the parts kept falling off and I put up with it for several months until I decided it wasn't worth keeping anymore. Pretty frustrating for a $600 vacuum.
Not sure why got the downvotes - I was just stating a fact about my return experience.

Returns from Amazon are difficult for you? Are you kidding??? I don't even need to box anything anymore and just go to whatever UPS, Kohls etc and they do all the leg work

Because it is abuse of their return policy. The part falling off could be due to wear and tear. It could be a manufacturing issue. All of those are generally not the responsibility of the retailer(costco).

How is it abuse? I went to the store, explained the situation, and politely asked them what my options were, and they said they would take it back and give me a full refund.
