Do these off gas badly? I bought another set like 9 months ago and it's still off gassing into my basement.

Yes. But mine cleared up in a few weeks. Others have said dish soap rinse and leave in the sun but I didn't have to do any of that.

I've had these for 10 months since the last deal before Christmas, and the rubber makes our workout room smell unpleasant. Great price though.

Under $1/lb is a good everyday deal, but I'd expect better deals around Black Friday and through end of year and into early next year...like we see happen every year.

Are there ever deals on 2inch cast iron plates like a 75lb set for the curl bar? Seems unwieldy to use big plates for curls.

IDK, last year I would have said that. This year I have seen so many crazy deals on bumper plates this is not even exciting. I paid $0.52/lb and down to $0.37/lb on multiple deals and I expect to see BalanceFrom plates at Walmart to drop down to crazy low prices a few more times ! Guess I am getting spoiled!
