if you are in the att cricket space they're 199 but locked to them for a year. zero contract though. I know down votes. but I was on cricket prepaid anyways. never activated and just swapped chips.
AFAIK the phone can still be used on WiFi but if you want to bring to a different carrier, metro phones require:

Be wary that the S25 FE version has the Samsung Exynos 2400 processor and not the Snapdragon 8 Elite like the other models.
It's the same processor used in S24 and S24 plus intetnational versions. Not a bad processor and is much better than S23 FE... (but only slightly better than S24 FE)

Yep, and part of the reason it is cheaper than the standard S25 models. Other than battery life and thermals (heavy gaming) it performs as well or better than Snapdragon 8 gen 2. (2023) So it is perfectly fine for 90% of us peasants.

TW only requires 60 days.
(199 only with new number or prot in and require 1 month of Supreme Unlimited plan.
Also the unlock policy says 6 months of active service not 365 days.
