Is this worth picking up?
I have an old A19 that's still kicking but been eyeing something with a self emptying bin.

Can anyone please suggest if I should get this one or the iRoobot Roomba J7+ refurbished one from eBay? How does their suction capability compare?

Anyone know how this brand compares to a Tineco one on Amazon? I had a S3 from Tineco that had to get a battery replaced under warranty but crapped out again after two years.

tineco, roborock, dreame, all of them are popular brands in China market, so I would say the machines would be comparable, but I m not sure about their warranty policy in US. btw, 3yr would be a normal battery life for these vaccum.

Do the wet dry ones work well while dry vacuuming carpet??

Also does anyone know if the differences in the 2 Amazon ones are worth the jump in price?

wouldnt this just smear the mess over the floor and lead to a sticky surface? I can't imagine this actually removing the dirt and not leaving it sticky based on the videos.

I just bought this 2 weeks ago on Amazon for $265. Oh well.

Anyhow, I really like this model so far. Super convenient and I like the simplicity of this model in particular - no wifi connection or app or touch screen display. Just simple buttons that work.

Cleans very well - don't expect miracles, but every time I use it I'm surprised by how filthy the water is after the self-cleaning cycle. The winning factor is really the convenience - so easy to grab it and be mopping in 5 seconds, without buckets and rags and everything.

For $200, highly recommend.

No. I have a Tineco which is comparable to this model. It has a clean water tank with detergent and spray that water while the roller is working. The vacuum sucks up the dirty water to a dirty water tank so the water is not recycled.
I found the one that I have works pretty well. Even with dried sticky mess, all it takes is a few extra passes. One down side is that the tank is limited in size so you have to keep filling / emptying the tanks depends on the size of the tanks.
