I have this phone in white. paid $1500 on release. I've only used 300gb so far.

Personally have had bad experiences with Amazon Renewed phones, bought a 14 Pro last year that ended up getting SIM locked by the carrier about 2 months after starting to use it. Turns out it was likely a stolen phone, thankfully was able to return it to Amazon within the return window but scary to think that could have happened at any point after buying the phone and there's nothing you can do about it.

I have this and can highly recommend it, but iPhones can last 5+ years so it's probably worth the extra few hundred to get the latest and greatest imo.

I got mine on launch day, too.. opted for 256GB thinking I'd use it for video, but still sitting at 192GB free lol

Do they replace the battery as part of the renew process? I have a lunch day 15 pro max that has 320 cycles and battery is already at 86% health.

Nope they don't replace it, they will give you one with at least 80%, I got a 12 pro like new at 82% last years.

Have you ever considered paying Apple or google for cloud storage? I have always been against it but ever since iPhone 14 came out I did. The cost to buy the extra storage space in your case was $1100 base to $1500 for 1 TB.
Annual fee would be approximately $120. I change out my phone every 2-3 years to my carrier they usually don't add value for larger storage. It may be cheaper just to subscribe. It's also nice to not to have back up my photos to my computer and my hard drive every time I upgrade. It's all in the cloud and I can access it when I restore my phone.

I'm at 740 cycles with 88% health. Do you charge up all the way? Or cap at 80% (which is what I do)?

Since this is shipped and sold by Amazon and not third party, anyone happens to know who refurbishes this for Amazon? It also comes with 1 year Amazon Renewed Guarantee, not too shabby if all replacement parts used in the refurbished iPhone are original Apple parts. Thanks.

When it is renewed premium with 1 year amazon returns, It used to be original Apple refurbs.
There was this M2 Studio Max sometime back with renewed premium and 1 year returns and it was original apple new/refurb. So I believe this should be be actual apple refurbs,
