worth noting the price often drops down to $35 so you should only grab this if you need Norton right now... and for pete's sake remove your credit card info from your norton account after activating it AND turn off auto renew if you end up buying this.
Do you even need Norton or is Windows Defender good enough? (edit, Windows Defender is free and automatically included in both Win 10 and Win 11)... See

There's a quote from the article that I think rings true
"You still need to smart, careful, and aware by:
Not visiting shady websites
Not downloading unsolicited files
Not clicking links in emails or social media messages
If you trust that you're good enough to keep yourself safe, and if you don't mind shouldering the responsibility of maintaining good cybersecurity practices, then Windows Security should be enough.
But if you have frequent lapses in judgment, if you're anxious about falling prey to malware or cybercriminals, or if you need additional features not included in Windows Security, then consider a paid antivirus suite."
I'll be the first one to admit I'm personally paranoid as all heck
I will say that if you buy this while it's pretty cheap compared to other security software (office depot may have a mcafee "unlimited devices for under $15 for one year" deal too this coming Black Friday as they have on numerous other Black Fridays in years past) Norton can and will annoy you by constantly suggesting you buy this or that Norton product even if you turn on the "hey don't market me option" (it just means they market you somewhat less
