(And their vendor even resent me a free replacement when I messaged him a year later, asking whether something was broken--which it wasn't, it was me and Bluetooth multipoint--without even saying anything, lol.)
If the company isn't still around, then I'm sure there's something just like it where the two earbuds are connected by a single wire that hangs behind your neck. I believe the company is still around though. What strange names they pick, haha.
Now I use them interchangeably. I normally use Sony noise-cancelling headphones when not jogging. I probably could and should start hiking wearing the Sony's.
If you go to their website, they give you the exact length of the band, and have a printable ruler you can use to confirm if they will fit.
"IP55 Water-Resistant
Rain, sweat, splashes – bring it on. An IP55 water-resistant design, including a double-layer mesh structure and nano-hydrophobic coating, ensures durability against the elements."
EDIT: According to AI
"Good question — and this is an important distinction.
An IP55 rating means:
The first "5" = limited protection against dust (not fully dust-tight, but resistant).
The second "5" = protection against low-pressure water jets from any direction (like light rain or sweat, or being splashed).
What that does not mean: It's not designed for continuous water exposure — like immersion or direct water spray from a showerhead. The combination of heat, steam, and steady water pressure in a shower can easily breach IP55 protection and damage the electronics or compromise the seals over time.
✅ Safe for:
Sweat and workouts
Rain or light splashes
❌ Not safe for:
Showering
Swimming
Submersion in water
If you want something you can wear in the shower, look for a rating of IP67 or IP68, which cover short-term or continuous immersion."
