They seems to have a stricter return policy.

"To be eligible for a return/exchange, your item(s) must be new, unused and contain original packaging accessories.
  • All Paddles must still have the seal over the grip handle. "

I would consider myself a 3.0-3.5 player. I had this paddle. I would say it was a bit mid and ended up selling it. Its a really good paddle, with a huge sweet spot and great control if that is what you are looking for. I felt I could never miss or mis-hit with this paddle. If you are itching for more power and reach, then stay away from Scorpeus.

But as you advance, you probably want something more powerful or elongated to give your game more of a edge. I think you will see more hyperions and perseus because they offer that specialty. The standard/wide shape drop out because you get better and dont need as large of a sweet spot.

What are some paddles someone would advance from this one?

This model of scorpeus is a gen 2 paddle. The bigger brands are currently on gen 4 technology. But that technology comes at a price ($200+). Gen 3 paddles from smaller brands now run around <$100.

As someone outgrowing their paddle and getting consistent shots, you dont need a large sweet spot. You want more reach and power. Most companies make mostly elongated paddles in the advanced range. I would recommend an elongated paddle or a hybrid shape. The feel/price point/branding is subjective. You can play the performance/spec/weight/review game forever. Find something that fits your budget and you like the styling.

PM me if you want specific suggestions.
