Just wondering, what's the difference between a $50 paddle and a $200 paddle? is it really that significant in feel?

If you are a beginner probably not that much. After playing a while you can feel the difference and can generate more spin and more power with a better paddle. If you are just starting out get a $20-30 paddle.
Then, when you are ready for a new paddle look at the abundant reviews from relatively non-biased reviewers ( not TIK-TOK) and demo some paddles. Great selection and value in the $100-180 range.

I can't speak for every budget paddle but i use Amoswiz paddle as backup for my Crbn. I bought Amoswiz for $33 on temu without any expectations and it is also USAPA approved. In most case it performs similar to my crbn. Infact my friends thought it performed better than their expensive paddles and bought the same as backup. I don't recommend spending much on pickleball paddles as they loose the pop and grit as we keep using it. The honeycomb core gradually compress will loose pop. If you are regular player you need to keep changing paddles every few months. Buy any name brand only if there is a deal or you can find several smaller reputed brands like vatic pro. They are selling 4th generation paddles for $100. The paddle posted by OP is 3rd generation which is couple years old.
