Solid phone. Mine got caught up in the unlock policy change so it's permanently locked, but works with any Verizon MVNO, so I'm good.
how is it permanently locked?

TW unlock policy (the website links to Tracfone unlock policy, https://www.tfwunlockpolicy.com/w...tal/home/) requires 60 days of active service after activation for unlock.

Problem is, you are paying for only 60 days of active service; if you port early, you don't meet the conditions for unlocking; if you wait to port, line goes inactive unless you add one more month service.

This particular deal doesn't require porting; so you could buy it separately, have it unlock after 60 days, and then shift the mint sim into it. That may be a better option for you.

Yeah they sell the same XT2405V model. Should work might have to use visible physical card with different IMEI if rejected can try ESIM also. The Straight Talk one did which is same model tracfone.

I got this for $35 last October from Metro. Performance is fine but the curved screen is not for me. Too long and narrow.

if the # isn't that important to you, it's possible to disable auto pay. let the service cutoff for a few days after 1 month, then buy another 30 day service plan to reinstate the account. Though the unlock policy doesn't state this their automate unlock only cares that its been 60 days SINCE activation and that more than 60 days or more of service have been paid in total for the new activation. When you allow the service to lapse for a few days between months you still get credit for the days without service under '60 days SINCE activation' and paying the 2nd month late still brings your total to 60 days or more of paid service but now giving you a 2-3 day window to port out without requiring a 3rd month.

I say 'if the number isn't that important to you' because for some folks using their main # having service cutoff for a day or two is out of the picture

The point with THIS deal is that you have to buy 2 months service upfront to get the 0 dollar price; so the option of "cutting off" and then buying a 30 day service plan later to reinstate isn't a possible approach. There's still the risk with Android phones of not getting auto unlocked, and needing to add a 30 day plan; the $30 5 GB plan is the lowest for the 3rd month, if service is required.

So from my quick research, this model does have the dual SIM. However without the website giving the exact model or upc I would just keep that in mind.

I bought it for $55 + $10 = $65 during the last sale.

Even though it wasn't unlocked, I was able to use it on Visible with eSIM.

I also have a Galaxy A36, and Edge 2024 it's faster and less laggy than the A36.

I've used the Stylus 2023, 2024, Galaxy A36, and Edge 2024 for the past year, and this was the best of them all.

I sold the Edge 2024 and bought the A36, but I'm a little disappointed now.

I don't have any other expensive good phones so I can't compare, but compared to the A36, I would say the Edge 2024 is similar or slightly better.

That's what I did exactly and it works.

Good. This phone is very snappy and buttery smooth.
