That's perfect for when they make you sit on the wing.

Have flown Frontier numerous times and the only issue I've had was them canceling a connecting flight from Denver to Ontario, CA two weeks before departing so I had to book United in a pinch (for 3x the price and I'd rather fly Frontier…). Frontier gets you from Point A to Point B, cheaply. You can't ask for more for the price. Most of the Low Cost Carriers are just fine, assuming you aren't overpacking and go in knowing what to expect… literally nothing outside of arriving at your destination…

Another thing is they're dependable between their home in Denver and other major stops, but for a lot of their routes, it might be one flight a day (or less) meaning that cancellations or mistakes on their part turn into a lot more of a fiasco (just like Spirit or Allegiant, etc).

Just something to consider. If you're making a trip with deadlines and non-cancellable plans, it's cheap insurance to pay a little more for a legacy carrier. Or Southwest (aka Elliott Capital's Greedy Pet Project) if you still acknowledge them...

I have this on my Platinum - thank you!

I checked my Delta AMEX and had this for Delta Stays:

Delta Stays
Spend $600 or more, earn $120 back
Expires 12/31/25

Not quite a flight, but Delta Stays does earn MQDs if they are in a promotion (which ends the 24th of this month right now), but they may bring it back.

Frontier is great now that they sell flight insurance at checkout. That insurance, which is not very expensive, allows you to purchase a flight on another airline after $1,200 if your Frontier flight is just a few hours delayed. Since the introduction of the insurance option, I no longer hesitate to fly on Frontier.
