I couldn't find any info on the percentage of vit c in this product, though various sources say it has 70% green tangerine extract. The pump is good for minimizing oxidation. Probably not the best vit c product out there but not bad given this price point and the added niacinamide.

while you're right to be concerned, I've read on a lot of Asian beauty subreddits that more and more brands are selling directly through Amazon. This one ships from South Korea through Amazon; from what I see, they have a concerning review average of 86% as sellers, but if you drill down, most of the negative reviews, but not all, have the comment Message from Amazon: This item was fulfilled by Amazon, and we take responsibility for this fulfillment experience." So do with that what you will. There definitely used to be a big problem with beauty items of all sorts that were sold on Amazon, but I think that it's getting better.

it isn't a "lower" form of vitamin C. it just isn't l ascorbic acid--it is a gentler form that does more to even skintone, but definitely does not punch the anti-aging power that laa gives. And this makes sense with niacinamide, which essentially does the same thing (and which can cause redness and irritation if used with laa). So it's more a question of what you want from a serum: brightening and evening of skin tone or powerful anti aging actives. If the latter, this definitely isn't for you.
