i bought it around a month ago, think it was at the same price, working fine so far. video quality is ok for the price, only issue i see is the timestamps which are off on some recordings by an hour and matches the actual time on a few others, unable to figure out what could be causing it. i wanted to buy a cheap one and this was ok for my requirement. Though i wont buy this above this price point as there may be better options.

I need to pull my micro card and check the footage. Just been too busy! Has anyone checked the quality of the rear camera at night?

Just checked my micro and the rear cam is ok but the headlights glare behind me destroys most of the picture. Is there a setting to help this?

As long as there is no headlight glare in the rear, the picture is OK a night! The glare is aweful!

Can anybody tell if the front camera is able to record at 60hz, even if the resolution is reduced? And I'm guessing it's not a touchscreen since there's underside buttons?

Noticed the record light goes out on screen saver. But the unit is still recording!

When setting a dash cam to 50Hz or 60Hz, it is important to consider the local electrical power supply frequency. In Europe, where the standard frequency is 50Hz, setting the dash cam to 50Hz will help minimize or eliminate flickering in recordings when driving through areas with artificial lighting. This adjustment ensures that the frame rate of the camera syncs well with the frequency at which the lights flicker, thereby reducing or preventing the flicker effect in the video footage.

In contrast, in the USA and Canada, where the standard frequency is 60Hz, setting the dash cam to 60Hz will help avoid flickering caused by LED lights and other artificial lighting sources. This setting ensures that the video quality remains stable and free from flicker, especially during night or indoor parking situations where artificial lighting is prevalent.

It is recommended to check the local electrical power supply frequency and adjust the dash cam settings accordingly to avoid any flicker issues in recorded video. This will help ensure clearer, more stable video recordings, especially in areas with artificial lighting.

I have uploaded a review of this thing, with a night-time recording. Something is VERY wrong with the image processing, making it almost useless at night. The review should be viewable tomorrow morning, I'd stay away from this thing.

My review

They should have sold this in a bag and spent the money on a better rear view camera. The box is worth more than the camera.

Many fake reviews that slipped through the system.
Example!

Just got this dashcam and the packaging was beautiful. The device looks solid and well-made. I can't wait to set it up!
Exactly what I needed. Great camera for the price. Easy to install, less than 10 minutes. Picture quality is awesome, I am easily able to see videos on my phone. 5G WiFi connection, and it comes with the memory card. Tested the nighttime camera vision, and was very impressed. Now I am able to capture video from the front and back. I love the peace of mind it gives me while driving. Highly recommend.
