Solid review from zeroair on the 5000k variant which is identical to this 6500k, except for 6500k gets bit more lumens and has more cool tint.

Bought this from a prior deal. It's my favorite EDC flashlight.

This is one of my favorites, Wurkkos TS26s probably takes the favorite spot because dedomed 519a in 5000k looks just too nice. I highly prefer the tail switch on this though and runtime too.

Don't also forget to add Convoy to the list! They don't run sales but have very solid and customizable lights in terms of emitters and tints. I have almost 10 wurkkos and sofirn combined and 3 Convoy, but Convoy is great as well

It's pretty large for an EDC compared to an SR12 or FC11C but it is bright.

Here's the SC33 compared to my Convoy S2+ in gray and wurkkos ts25 (also 21700) in black. It's bigger than TS25, not sure I'd do EDC with it but it's absolutely doable.

Can this take a protected 21700 with the button top? That battery is usually longer than the unprotected 21700.

Do you daily carry this? For work? Do you pocket clip or clip on bag? Does the battery stay charged even when you're not using it for extended periods of time?

Im looking for the something near this size with very high throw. Basically for new moon night boating to check my surroundings. Hoping some of our resident flashlight experts can point me towards what to watch for, or is this it?

EDC for you is fine, but it's a lot bigger than most people need for an EDC. The Wurkkos WK03 or FC11C are on sale too and a lot smaller.

I bought a few SC33s for $20-$24 when it was on sale a few months back. Do I think it will get that low again? Probably not with the new tariffs.

You probably want something with an SFT40 emitter. If you want to stay with Sofirn, look at the IF22A or SF26. Or Convoy L21B or C8+.
