Wow .. this is a great deal. I bought this from Walmart back in March for $158.86 before tax. The major issue is shipping. Reviews are full of complaints about receiving a dented unit. I was lucky in that respect. I met the Fedex driver upon delivery and he was really careful. I won the dent lottery. The unit itself has been running 24/7 since without any issues.

The TCL one that is also same price, has the metal surface.

Good idea on using the dollies to load, I think I'll do that. Uprights are really less energy efficient. Have you considered using freezer baskets? Feels cheap. One of the two hinges is completely broken – this could not be missed in the final inspection… Impossible. Packaging was for shit, but fortunately no dents that I see so far. Overall the item feels like it's incredibly cheaply made. But I guess I'll call the number in the box to see if I can get a replacement hinge I don't know

Mine was delivered Saturday and opened today and they only returns until today lol. Mine came with minor cosmetic dents, got on chat and they don't offer partial refunds. Only full refunds in returning item. I'll keep it but if it had major damage I'd have to go through huge hassle. Also it's increased in price up to $238. I bought a fridgidaire fridge which also had worse damage and they gave $30 partial refund over a year ago. So they've changed policy since.
