Just a heads up. When entering personal info on order, do not capitalize your first or last name. I read about this from another thread and it seems to work at keeping their security system from raising false security flags. Also used chrome incognito and VPN. Order went thru without a hitch.

I want to remind everyone that there is no need to port in a number for this deal. Slickdeals staff replaced my original post with their own that states a port is required. SD staff is wrong on this.

The $99.99 + $55 deal requires you to port in a non T-Mobile phone number.
So port in a backup number, pay 1 month service ($55), unlocks after an year?
Seems great for $155

So if I'm already a Metro customer, can I add a second $65 line, cancel it after a month, and then switch my existing line to this RAZR, which is Metro-locked for 12 months, which I don't mind because I'm a Metro customer? And no fees to cancel? (they mention that you'd need to pay $50 to switch to a cheaper plan, which shouldn't apply to me because i'd be cancelling)...
Or do I need to pretend I'm a new customer? the language on the Metro site is very confusing/contradictory... I"m currently on the $25 unlimited plan.
Yes, it's possible. Order the phone on a separate account. Once you have the RAZR or whatever new phone you order from Metro. Activate and complete your new account registration. Login to your my metro app with the new device account and find the option to change your phone. Move the New phones service to a different spare phone. Then you can repeat the process on your original/existing line to move that service to the RAZR all in the app without having to contact customer service.

I love this phone and own two of them. I have a third 2025 model as well as a backup. One issues is that no folding phone is going to last as long as a slab phone. I only expect mine to last a couple of years, especially because I don't use a case because it substantially thickens the phone because the case thickness doubles when folded over. The screen protector also can lift off and the screen can crack down the middle.

Also, beware that motorola supports this phone for 3 years, and it's already a year old. Add another year sitting in your drawer to unlock, and it doesn't leave you a lot of time. I believe the last update is going to be android 17.

Boost Mobile has the razr 2025 for $99. But it looks like you have to have the $60 a month plan for 3 months.
Guess I'll just wait/hope this one comes back in stock.

Is it going to be in stock again soon?

Looking for a solid one-piece case for the Motorola Razr 2024 that doesn't fold — something that makes it feel like a regular slab phone. Does that exist?

So....can we also let the $65 plan pass the first month and expire, and then order a new $25 BOYD line and add this Razr back in as our own device? Is that possible?

Will this work with a Mint SIM since not only Tmo network but now owned by Tmo?
I'd be interested as well. From someone who has actually tried this, not a lazy speculative answer.
