Just a heads up. When entering personal info on order, do not capitalize your first or last name. I read about this from another thread and it seems to work at keeping their security system from raising false security flags. Also used chrome incognito and VPN. Order went thru without a hitch.

I want to remind everyone that there is no need to port in a number for this deal. Slickdeals staff replaced my original post with their own that states a port is required. SD staff is wrong on this.

Same.
A majority of the Moto phones still show 180 days under the network unlock app but it is 365. Have tested personally on multiple phones and plenty of other users have reported the same after waiting 180 days.

The unofficial cutoff date for _180 days from activation_ unlock was early October 2024 with all Metro Phones. Any phones activated after that are stuck waiting the full year.
The good news is that a few people who just missed the cutoff date have now reported successful auto unlocks after finally reaching 365 days in the past week.

Under device status it said locked and " device must be used on this phone number for 180 days " anyone else have the same status ? Also can you trade this in while locked ? Thanks
A year ago I bought the 2024 Moto Stylus and the settings showed 180 days. I only used the phone for the first month and set it aside for the following 11 months. The unlock period is 1 year. The phone is now unlocked after 1 year.

not worth $10 bucks because the screen protector bubbles, peels, creases, and cracks at the hinge causing a permanent black screen

you have dozens of topics on Reddit about these foldable screen problems

On the newer models? I know that was an issue for the first couple years.

Anyone have any luck when it was available to order as a second line? I tried and kept on getting payment errors with different CCs . then it went out of stock. not sure of its not allowed as a second device or that it went out of stock.

I was able to get the tablet but I had to spend an hour with CS. they seem pretty cluless and their accent is so hard to understand.
Had the same issue when it came back in stock today. I tried two credit cards, changed browser, logged in behind a VPN etc. Nothing worked for me. If you can find a store you might be able to get it there.

Same here. They're not just blocking double dippers. This would've been my first line.

Have you participated in prior years? Last year I got 4x tablets + 1x phone. Chances are I have been blacklisted.

Got my phone today. This is the first time I use a Moto phone. Went through the setups and activated my number. It was overwhelming. I used Android and iPhone before, but nothing like this phone. Anyways, T-Mobile pSim doesn't work. Also, Metros sent me a text from 611, saying I can get 100gb for Google and Amazon Prime on them. But I'm unable to figure out how to claim them. If anyways could show me how, it would be great. TIA.

For the amazon prime look for a link when signed into your account on the MyMetro app or on Metro website in browser. If you can't find it one check the other. The link will take you to an Amazon page where you login with your existing account and the Prime membership is applied instantly. Once your Metro service is cutoff the prime membership will end on its own.

Edit: Found the solution. After activating your first qualifying line. On that device using metro network mobile data visit the following link. It will auto recognize the phone you are on and forward you to an amazon login page to activate the offer. Visiting it over WiFi or another device will offer the option t enter your phone number and receive an OTP that is never delivered.

Nope. This would've been my first time. Now, Cricket on the other hand. I took advantage of an iPhone deal back in like 2021.
