Just a heads up. When entering personal info on order, do not capitalize your first or last name. I read about this from another thread and it seems to work at keeping their security system from raising false security flags. Also used chrome incognito and VPN. Order went thru without a hitch.

If you activate it on 10/15/25, it will unlock on 10/16/26 by itself, you can go into the settings to confirm it. Then you are free to erase the eSim and install another eSim or a physical sim card.

So am I entering a month to month plan or is it truly prepaid like Tracfone? If I don't want to pay for service after 1 month, is there a cancellation fee?

I just want this phone as an android device for messing with on wifi. Not interested in ever connecting to cellular

I see SD staff changed the information on the deal. The deal does not require porting a number in at this moment in time. That could change eventually but as of right now it doesn't.

Cannot add to cart when choosing new number. And when added to cart, the continue button is greyed out.

They could be clearing it out because the 2025 model is out for $419 on Metro and does require a line transfer. They may not get a premium price for this in 2026.

Don't lose your sleep over it, it will be back in stock early next week. This is how their website works.
