I find their ITC membership price to be a bit odd. $30 is a bit high to be an impulse buy. I would think if they priced it at, say $19.99 per year, they would get a marked increase in uptake, and thus more repeat business from ITC members that would more than pay for the membership price drop.
(and yes, if you could use it up to x5 times in a day, that's $37.50 - which pays for it, but ONLY IF (A) you're allowed to use it multiple times in that particular store, (B) you're buying things at/close to $25, and (C) you actually need something around the time the coupons come out.
Think of it like this: They were going to sell these items at this sale price anyways. They've run the numbers, and even on sale, they're making more than enough profit -- they're not losing anything. But they found a way to trick people to PAY them for access to the sale. If most people snubbed these subscriptions, then the same sales would be available to everyone. Remember back when there were ALWAYS "free items without purchase" and "any item 20% off" coupons?

You need to "save" $30 on things that absolutely do not go on sale otherwise (or else, you could just buy them as a normie on regular "sales") -- just to break even. And that's every year. Factor in fuel and time too. And sometimes being sold out of highly desired items (good luck finding those slip-joint needle nose pliers!).
And every shopping subscription you open your wallet for only encourages this behavior from other stores. It's not enough to just get your business -- they should be happy you're actually buying something there (in this economy especially!).
