I bought a case of FL400S for this application. Is this a better filter? Maybe? I appreciates the extra capacity with 5k changes for an engine that's easy on oil in the first place.

... and if I go down that rabbit hole of this car lasting past 2030, the PL14477 is $3.25 before S&S:

I waited like 6-8 months for a pasta maker machine but it was like 70-80% off but I wans't in a hurry for it to care.

I still have one left over when I got rid of my 2003 Corolla. The Rav4 design using re-usable is a pain in the ass that I use the 10-20k mile to avoid changing it...

Through some cross referencing, This filter is a replacement for a Kawasaki 49065-2078, which in lawn and garden terms is a direct replacement for most older Kawasaki V-twin engines up to 25 HP. These fit my Cub Cadet 5254 and my Cub Cadet 3208. Both have 25 HP Kawasaki liquid cooled V-twins. A lot of zero turns employ air cooled Kawasaki twins as well Check your manuals to be sure of the proper OEM part number. Thought this might help some of the DIY'ers.

The Boss filters are all showing either out of stock or $8, but found 2 POne filters for my vehicles (F150 and Scion xB) for $2.75, which is a good deal IMO.
