For anyone interested, KFC is selling the new honey bbq drums for $2. Regular drum is $4.19 where I'm located (MA). Combined with one of their two coupon, it's either $1 total with "$1 off $2" coupon or $2 plus a large side of fries free coupon. Second option yields a greater discount.
It's a hefty piece of chicken. Also, never purchase the chicken little sandwich when you get get the regular size for 20 cents more.

$35.99 for 16 pieces and that is not including all the sides specified above (extra $2.99 for gravy and $7.74 for 6 biscuits) = $46.72 and that is when minimum wage in my state is $7.25/hr.
Reality, $3.50 on a $1/hr. in 1957 so 7.25 that? $25.375 (so more than half of what they are charging). Now I could go down to the nitty gritty and proportion the discount off each chicken piece from their regular prices and use that discount percentage amount off a single bowl of gravy and biscuits, but I highly doubt it would bring it down under $40.00.
If you have a wife today, she is going to be like "Giving me a reprieve? Excuse me? You're making it, if you want all that so bad. And you should not be spending that much of OUR money on junk."
