I don't disagree with the fact the 695 performs better... I checked benchmarks to see this. But when you start a post with "according to AI..." I automatically dismiss your comment, friend. I had to go verify it myself. AI is untrustworthy most of the time and you should always check what garbage it spits out. No offense meant at all, just commentary on the state of searches performed by tech companies and presented as "fact." Once you get hooked on AI searches and stop verifying, they can make ANY "fact" seem true to manipulate you.

TL;DR Don't trust AI and ALWAYS verify.

His comment wasn't that AI is always wrong. He said that it was untrustworthy. And I'm inclined to agree with him.

My experience has been that AI is "confidently incorrect". I don't mean that it is always incorrect, or even incorrect most of the time. But it is frequently wrong. And when it is, it presents it's answer in a way that it looks accurate at first. It often makes it really hard to notice that it is wrong. Especially in areas where the user is less informed to begin with.

Check out the most recent video from Kurzgesagt – In a Nutshell [youtu.be]. Their channel makes videos that take a lot of research. They were initially enthusiastic about the idea of being able to use AI to help them speed up some of these tasks. And at first, the results looked fantastic. But as they dug into the data they got from LLMs, they found a whole lot of junk. This included citing sources that ended up being slop created by other AI.

None of this means don't use AI or it isn't helpful. It's that people shouldn't blindly trust AI. At least not at this point in time.

At least this can be an alternative to the Samsung A9+ tablet because it has a better screen.

Full spec list.

Benchmark score from nanoreview.net

Lenovo w/MT G85 Geekbench 6 CPU single score 413, multi-core 1332, GPU 1138
Samsung w/MT G99 Geekbench 6 CPU single score 729, multi-core 1979, GPU 1322
Lenovo w/MT 6300 Geekbench 6 CPU single score 782, multi-core 2012, GPU 1466
Samsung A9+ w/SD 695 Geekbench 6 CPU single score 908, multi-core 2134, GPU 1223

Samsung A11+ w/MT 7300 Geekbench 6 CPU single score 1058, multi-core 3025, GPU 2606
The A11+ would be what most people aim for as an upgrade in CPU/GPU performance.

The normal Samsung A11 has already been released overseas, which replaces the A9. With the MT G99 CPU. There will be some minor changes, but the main upgrade will be the refresh of security support.

FYI.
The Samsung A9+ 5G will get up to Android 16 OS and security updates up to Oct 2027.

according to AI - The Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor in the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ Plus is overall better than the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 in the Lenovo Idea Tab 11".

Not slick enough. Ice cold deal
Care to link to a better (and comparable) deal?

Seems good to me, name brand, includes pin and case, decently high ram and specs (for the price). Anything else in this price range is either a huge step down in specs or some rando tablet from Aliexpress. Just wondering what makes this deal "cold" in your mind.

$170 for 8/256 + 2K display + decent processor + new OS (andriod 15) + Tab Pen and Folio Case. I don't think there are comparable alternatives!

This seems like a really good deal, as I'm just seeking a pen capable budget tablet for note taking and light travel work. This is the newest "Tab" variant from Lenovo as well, right?

I am using this tablet since the past 10 days and it's just amazing for the price. I'm a student and it helps me with everything without any issues so just go for it. I got it for $150 after taxes in my country

Snagged on thanks, needed it for a trip, don't think we'll see much better around $150 for black Friday.

The CPU performance should be G99 < G100 < 6300 < sd 695

So the Samsung is faster while the Lenovo has a better screen?
