TL;DR Don't trust AI and ALWAYS verify.
My experience has been that AI is "confidently incorrect". I don't mean that it is always incorrect, or even incorrect most of the time. But it is frequently wrong. And when it is, it presents it's answer in a way that it looks accurate at first. It often makes it really hard to notice that it is wrong. Especially in areas where the user is less informed to begin with.
Check out the most recent video from Kurzgesagt – In a Nutshell [youtu.be]. Their channel makes videos that take a lot of research. They were initially enthusiastic about the idea of being able to use AI to help them speed up some of these tasks. And at first, the results looked fantastic. But as they dug into the data they got from LLMs, they found a whole lot of junk. This included citing sources that ended up being slop created by other AI.
None of this means don't use AI or it isn't helpful. It's that people shouldn't blindly trust AI. At least not at this point in time.

Fire Max has been fine, but would like something fairly cheap with stylus support as children are learning to write. (All reviews of the Fire Max stylus suggest that it is awful.)
Thanks in advance.
Note that Lenovo also has the:
Idea Tab Plus 12.1" - basically same medium range processor, has video out, around $250 on sale
Idea Tab Pro 12.7"- much faster Dimensity 8300 from 2024, flagship performance from 2024, around $280 on sale. Can be found on Aliexpress shipped for $200.

Sure, he might be correct. His sources might be legit. Or he could be full of hogwash and hallucinating. You simply don't know until you do the work yourself. And by that point, you've already done the work yourself.
