Polymaker had there 35% off sale going. It was nice price for filament and dryer.

I got an email for a $25 "rebate" after the purchase of this bundle from Costco. It's really a $25 credit when buying directly from Polymaker, which makes it a slightly better deal for some. I used a $25 from a recent BestBuy order combined with the 35% off which ended a couple of days ago. I like Polymaker even though it is a bit pricier than others. Their color selections are great, and I wanted to try the HT-PLA anyway. Order came in two days as it was fulfilled by Amazon. Four assorted rolls for about $40 after tax.

I didn't think about combining the $25 promo with the 35% off deal. I wish I would've waited now 😂. Oh well. Hindsight 20:20.

This is NOT a good deal for PLA. Back in the early days of 3D printers when good PLA at a decent price was hard to find, it might have been okay. Nowadays, PLA from most budget brands is just as good as Polymaker, and can be regularly found for $10/kg or less. If you're buying more specialized filaments, like engineering filaments (PA6-CF, PET-CF, PPA, PPS, etc) for important functional parts, that's a different story. By all means, get the Polymaker, Bambu, or Sirayatech then. PLA+ is another one that isn't equal between manufacturers. Polymaker's PLA Pro and Duramic PLA+ are far and above the rest. For PLA, buy whatever's cheapest and on sale from a known brand.
