Tried it, didn't work. You don't get refunded until the item ships from the store back to warehouse where it came from. So you can't really buy that item in-store if it's not generally stocked/sold in store. I'm pretty sure Staples has extended this 100% points offer only to get rid of old, dusty luggages that have been sitting around in stores for months and years

I believe you can go into the store and ask them to order online for you. You still pay in store so it should count as in store purchase. It's great for price matching things they only sell online.

Thanks, just bought a Nintendo switch 2 with all my reward points. Got five suitcases free with a Nintendo switch that's planning to buy anyways. Even if you did last week's deal the deal for this week is different so I got the points as I walked out the door

I haven't earned/used Staples rewards since the free Duracell battery days. What kind of restrictions do they have? I assume you still can't use them on prepaid visa/MC cards or 3rd party gift cards?

I see a lower-end Samsonite carry-on that was $89 in Ross/TJ Maxx stores, and at Staples it's $160 with the same amount back in cashback.

So right now it's looking like I'd have to basically pay twice as much but get cashback to overspend on something else...unless the cash back can be used on anything (gift cards, ink purchased with coupon, etc.), I saw someone mention getting a Nintendo Switch.

Anyone else have a non-office related product purchased with the Rewards at a regular or even discounted rate? And Rewards be used online, right?
